RFI Notice

The Government of Canada - Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) has launched a Request for Information (RFI) to engage industry on how to incentivize major suppliers to adopt a science-based target in line with the Paris Agreement, and to disclose their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and environmental performance information.

The objectives of the RFI are to:

1. Request detailed information and feedback from suppliers.

2. Determine the capability of suppliers to satisfy a future requirement for disclosure of GHG emissions and setting of reduction targets

3. Allow suppliers to comment on potential path forward
