Pre-bid meeting:Interested Proponents must attend Mandatory information meeting on March 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrews Playground, 450 Adelaide Street West to familiarize themselves with the Project and ascertain the full extent of the work required.

Site meeting will not be available at any other time.

Bidders must sign in with City's representative at the mandatory site meeting at the designated date and time for their bid to be considered. Individuals attending the meeting must sign in and clearly indicate on the sign in sheet the name of the firm they are representing. Proposals submitted by Proponents that did not attend the mandatory information meeting shall be declared non-compliant.

Scope of Work

The Vendor is required to provide full professional and technical services to design and implement park improvements for St. Andrew’s Playground, including the western area that will be added to the park. The plan will take into account the outcome of public consultation completed to date by City staff, which included three visioning workshops and resulted in a proposed schematic layout of major park features.

The professional services for this project include development of conceptual design options, development of a preferred conceptual plan, detailed design, preparation of contract documents (drawings and specifications) for tender, any required permit applications, assistance with bidding and tendering process, construction supervision and contract administration to carry out the tasks as outlined below, including project close-out. A consultation plan that integrates findings of earlier consultation and engages the public and stakeholders in the design phases of this project will be developed and implemented during the design process.
