Scope of work:
• Project Management; capacity assessment; field survey and monitoring; Class EA activities; preliminary design;
• Collect and review background information and data;
• Review existing flow monitoring and rain gauge data;
• Identify flood clusters using a ramped analysis of the drainage systems; an overland sink fill analysis; a review of historically reported flooding; and a review of basement flooding questionnaire results. A basic model build would be undertaken to perform the ramped analysis;
• Propose and undertake field surveys, additional data collection, and rainfall/flow monitoring as required;
• Organize and store all information/data/knowledge/results;
• Develop and validate the hydrologic/hydraulic models of the drainage systems using InfoWorks;
• Recommend technically feasible and implementable solutions;
• Identify the Municipal Class EA Schedule for the identified Assignments. Undertake Municipal Class EA activities for Schedule B and C Assignments;
• Undertake Stage 1 Archaeological investigations;
• Undertake Cultural Heritage impact assessments;
• Prepare technical memoranda and reports for each Study Area;
• Provide cost estimates for all recommended solutions and Assignments, including cost per benefiting property calculations;
• Prioritize Assignments for preliminary design services;
• Undertake preliminary design and the preparation of preliminary design reports;
• Perform SUE, survey, data collections, geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations and produce reports, in support of preliminary design.
