SCOPE OF WORK:
Under the terms of this Contract, the Contractor agrees to furnish the necessary labour material and equipment to respond and relief/assess blocked drains on emergency basis and to restore the structural integrity of sewer service connections and/or pipes through the installation of the CIPP and to use Toronto Water's Contract Management System (CMS) which is a web based application that will be used for contract administration purposes. Restoration of structural integrity means that the rehabilitated sewer shall be capable of resisting for a 50-year life all loads and pressures to which the sewer is currently subject.

Emergency Relief/Assessment of Blocked Drain

Toronto Water staff will respond to blocked drain service requests to attempt relieving blocked drain. If they are not able to relieve the blocked drain, they will obtain the following information before mobilizing the contractor:

• Toronto Water contact information for the Emergency (phone/email)
• Street address and District
• Nearest intersection
• Name of resident
• Phone number/email of resident
• Description of Problem – (is there an active backup in progress or just a plugged drain)
• What work was attempted to relive the blockage
• Location of the Cleanout (if any) and if it's accessible

The Bidder must have the following experience in order to be considered for award:

The Bidder must have the following experience in order to be considered for award:

1. Must have achieved Substantial Completion including testing and commissioning within the meaning of the Construction Lien Act for a minimum of three (3) similar linear infrastructure projects, as defined within Project Description Section 4(3) and Section 4B(1), working directly for a municipality or simular territory with a minimum value of $1,500,000.00 Canadian dollars each (excluding taxes).
