3.1 The Vendor shall supply all labour, mobile truck, tools, equipment, consumables, apparatus, transportation, and incidentals required to provide non-exclusive 24/7 mobile roadside and onsite services, including tire repair on on-road light and heavy-duty commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles and equipment. The City will provide tires and wheels.

3.2 At a minimum, the Vendor must be able to provide 24/7 mobile roadside services including, but not limited to; tire inspection, tire changeover, tire swap, tire and wheel repair, tire alignment, tire pressure check, locking wheel nut removal, calcium filling tires, and resetting TPMS in City vehicles and equipment.

3.3 All services shall be completed in accordance to the manufacturer’s specifications at all times.

3.4 The Vendor must be fully equipped to perform mobile services on all sizes and types of tube and tubeless tires on public roads, and City property. The Vendor must also be able and have the tools necessary to provide the services as specified in this RFQ.

3.5 The Vendor shall notify the Participant's Supervisor or designate immediately of the unsafe condition of the tire and or wheel and request approval to perform the recommended services. Failure to obtain approval will result in the City not paying for the unapproved services.

3.6 The Vendor will be required to stock at their facility up to 40 tires and/or casings per participant, at no additional cost to the City, in order to meet turnaround times at City locations and roads. The Vendor will be required to pick up tires and wheels from City of Toronto supplier(s) and/or City of Toronto locations when required to complete the work.

3.7 The vendor will be required to manage City consignment tire retreads at City locations. The City will provide a locked area where tires will be stored. The vendor shall keep a record of all tires in stock and its movement as per Appendix B1(3) – Reporting.
