Every Bidder shall submit with their Bid a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of Quoted Bid and will agree to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond for the due and proper performance of the Work, each in the amount of 50% of the Contract amount including an extended 24 month warranty period. The Bonds will be issued by a licensed surety company authorized to transact business in the Province of Ontario and shall be maintained in good standing until the fulfilment of the Contract.

The Contractor shall furnish all labour, materials, equipment and full time supervision to construct this project at 1631 Queen St. E., in accordance with the drawings and specification including any addenda issued during the time of bidding. This work shall include, but not be limited to the summary below:
Roofing Replacement work for 1631 Queen Street East and associated areas as indicated under this contract covers the following major items:
a) General Conditions, Mobilization and Demobilization
b) TESS Roof – replace roof with tapered insulation package, new drain inserts, new parapet and metal flashing, adjust mechanical unit sleepers and curbs, adjust ductwork as required.
c) Lobby Roof – replace roof with tapered insulation package, new drain inserts, new parapet and metal flashing, adjust mechanical unit sleepers and curbs, adjust ductwork as required.
d) Middle Roof – replace roof with tapered insulation package, new drain inserts, new parapet and metal flashing, adjust mechanical unit sleepers and curbs, adjust ductwork as required.
e) Upper Canopy Roof – replace roof with tapered insulation package, new drain inserts, new parapet and metal flashing, adjust mechanical unit sleepers and curbs, adjust ductwork as required.
f) Elevator Roof – replace roof with tapered insulation package, new scupper drain, new parapet and metal flashing.
g) General Conditions – paint all gas lines, provide new sleepers for gas curbs, perform mechanical unit shutdowns as required to complete the work
