This project will include the following elements:
1) Traffic control, which includes traffic control signage, signage setup and traffic control persons (including Paid Duty Officers when needed);
2) Environmental Obligations;
3) Civil work, which includes handwells, conduits, footings, and raising traffic island. Repair existing underground conduits and riser conduits when needed;
4) Protection infrastructures, which includes Guide rails/posts, energy attenuators and RAPTOR crash cushion system;
5) Structures, which includes VMS support structure, and signal poles/posts;
6) Supporting documentation for Toronto Hydro pole attachment permit applications;
7) Power and communication wires and Toronto Hydro power hock-ups
8) Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with battery packages and cabinets;
9) Cellular modems and antennas;
10) IP Dome Cameras with PoE devices and mounting brackets
11) Variable Message Sign (VMS) and VMS controller (both to be provided by the City and to be installed by the Contractor);
12) LED-Blank Out (LBO) signs and mounting brackets;
13) Swing gates, lane reducers with their back-up power supply and control devices;
14) Gate control panels, LBO control panels, LDTMS controllers and auxiliary enclosures;
15) Central software, which shall remotely control swing gates, lane reducers and LBO signs;
16) Pre-Installation Test (PIT), Proof of Performance Test (POP) and System Integration Test (SIT) as required by Special Specifications
17) Project documentation, including shop drawings, catalogue sheets, calculations, drawings, diagrams, test print outs, photographs and text, etc.
18) Training;
19) Spares
20) Maintenance and Warranty.

DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS
The Tender Specifications and Drawings are available on CD to the bidders who have purchased the tender document. Bidders may pick up a copy of the CD from the Purchasing and Materials Management Division offices, 19th floor, West Tower, 100 Queen Street West during regular business hours (8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.).
Proof of Tender purchase will be required to pick-up the CD. The bidders who have not purchased the Tender document will have to do so before being given a copy of the CD
