Bid Bond Percentage: 10%
The work, in general consists of channel work at two sites within the Golf Course property and Highland Creek. Access to each site will be gained through the designated golf course property. As such, it is imperative that work be executed during winter months to reduce damage to fairways. The project included the following particulars:

Site 1
• Implementation of site controls, flow bypass or isolation of construction area from creek flow
• Removal and salvage of existing armourstone for use at Site 2
• Repair of armourstone wall adjacent to cart crossing abutment
• Repair/augmentation of bed materials where designated
• Construction of a vegetated rock revetment
• Site restoration

All construction activities for site 1 must be commenced by January 15, 2019 and must be completed before February 28, 2019.

Site 2
• Implementation of site controls, flow bypass or isolation of construction area from creek flow
• Removal and salvage of deteriorated gabion stone/baskets
• Construction of concrete abutment footing apron slabs
• Construction of armourstone retaining wall/erosion protection with vegetated rock slope stabilization
• Streambed grading and armourstone plate lining
• Armourstone and rock tow protection at base of existing armourstone wall
• Site restoration

Construction of site 2 is subject to the receipt of TRCA approval. If the approval is in place by the time of award of this contract, successful contractor is expected to complete the in-stream work for site 2 on or before March 31, 2019 except restoration work outside the watercourse.

If TRCA approval is not received for site 2 construction by the time of award, successful contractor shall commence the construction by the middle of October 2019 at no additional cost to the City.
