Friday, April 24, is your day to help keep Toronto clean and green! Gather your students and fellow staff and clean your schoolyard or a neighbourhood park. School cleanups are also encouraged on Wednesday, April 22 (Earth Day).

The first 500 schools to register will receive a free school cleanup kit, including: gloves, litter bags, blue bags for recycling, posters, safety information and educational materials. Please be advised, a maximum of two boxes of nitrile surgical gloves (100 gloves per box) will be provided to each registered school.

Please identify the area you will clean for example, schoolyard, sidewalks, and/or City park.

Park Cleanups - If your school is planning to hold a cleanup in a park, you must first get approval from the City of Toronto. Cleanup events are not permitted in some City parks. Please identify the park space(s) you plan to visit, the exact location of the cleanup and the time of the cleanup. We will contact you to discuss approval of your event.
