Members of Toronto's City Council will be joining representatives from
Toronto's restaurant industry at a news conference to launch the Toronto
Restaurant Challenge-a January 26 tsunami relief fundraiser for the Canadian
Red Cross. This city-wide initiative is anticipated to raise up to $50,000 for
tsunami relief.

Date: Tuesday, January 18
Time: 12:30 -1:30 p.m.
Location: Members' Lounge, Toronto City Hall

Several Toronto Councillors, project organizers Vito Rizzuto and Deborah Hunt
of Five Doors North, and a representative from the Canadian Red Cross will join
Councillor Adam Giambrone at the launch.

The Toronto Restaurant Challenge boasts the participation of 15 of Toronto's
best restaurants and this number is expected to grow as January 26 draws closer.
