Fireworks light up annual Victoria Day celebration at Ashbridges Bay Park

The City of Toronto will host the annual Victoria Day fireworks show at
Ashbridges Bay Park on Monday, May 23. The spectacular fireworks display is
planned for 9:45 p.m. rain or shine and is organized by the Parks, Forestry &
Recreation Division.

Ashbridges Bay Park is located on Lake Shore Boulevard East, at the foot of
Coxwell Avenue and is easily accessible by public transit. TTC service will be
available between Queen Street East and the Bloor-Danforth subway on the
Coxwell (22A), Main (64) and Woodbine South (92A) routes to handle the more
than 40,000 people expected at the event. It is recommended that members of the
public use the TTC and leave their cars at home.

Please note that City by-laws prohibit the public from setting off personal
fireworks in the park.
