Media Advisory - Ten Toronto neighbourhoods simultaneously illuminate as part of Cavalcade of Lights
Presented by Scotiabank, the Cavalcade of Lights, Toronto's multi-award-winning
holiday season celebration, will simultaneously illuminate ten Toronto
neighbourhoods with a series of magnificent new energy-efficient LED lighting

Date: Saturday, November 19

Time: The celebrations begin at 6 p.m. with caroling, speeches
and entertainment.
The public is invited to participate in the

Locations: Queens Quay Harbourfront (Music Garden, 475 Queen's Quay W. between
Bathurst Street and Spadina Avenue)
Downtown Yonge (Yonge-Dundas Square)
Rosedale Main Street (10 Scrivener Sq.)
GreekTown on the Danforth (Alexander the Great
Parkette, northeast corner of Danforth and Logan Avenues)
The Junction (southwest corner of Dundas Street
West and Keele Street)
The Kingsway (Bloor Street West and Royal York
Old Cabbagetown (Carleton and Parliament
Korea Town (Bloor Street and Christie Avenue)

Both the St. Lawrence Market and Kennedy Road
displays will be illuminated on November 19 through the holiday season but will
not be
holding public events.

In addition, Bloor-Yorkville will light their display with a public celebration
on Saturday, November 19 at 4:30 p.m. at the Village of Yorkville Park.
