Roadside Delivery on The East Mall - Paramedics to be reunited with baby and mom at EMS 39 Station
  
On August 16, 2004, a Toronto EMS Paramedic crew was rushing Jo-Ann Fox to
Humber River Regional Hospital - Finch Site so she could have her baby. En
route to hospital, the paramedics realized they weren’t going to make it in
time and pulled over onto The East Mall to deliver baby Jayda in the back of
the ambulance, with the help of a firefighter from Toronto Fire Services.

Date: Friday, April 15
Time: 7 a.m.
Place: Toronto EMS 39 Station
155 The East Mall

Tomorrow morning, as they come off night shift, Toronto EMS Paramedics Ginny
MacCormick and Victor Pak will be reunited with eight month-old Jayda and her
mother at Toronto EMS 39 Station.

Members of the media are welcome to come out for this photo opportunity and to
speak to family, paramedics and firefighter involved in this unique and blessed
event.
