Mayor David Miller to launch Live With Culture subway campaign
Members of the media are invited to join Mayor David Miller for the official
launch of Live With Culture's one-month campaign to bring culture into the TTC
subway system. The launch will include a tour of the visual art installations
and performances that will be showcased in the Eglinton station for the month
of October.

Date: Monday, October 3
Time: 10 a.m.
Place: TTC Eglinton subway station, 2190 Yonge St.
Please meet at the turnstiles directly below
the Yonge/Eglinton intersection for access to the fare-paid area.

Join Toronto Book Award winner David Bezmozgis, enjoy performances by members
of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, aerial dance artist Heather Hammond, Ballet
Jörgen Canada and the El Albrazo Argentinian Tango Co., and see the visual art
installations by Michael Awad, Cylla von Tiedemann, Julie Voyce, Michelle Gay
and Tempermettle and OCAD students sketching and painting.

Toronto's Live With Culture campaign is a 16-month celebration of the city's
extraordinary arts and cultural communities. From September 2005 to December
2006, the public awareness-building campaign will shine a spotlight on the
vibrant and diverse activities happening in the city to showcase the vast scope
of the city's culture of creativity.
