Toronto fire fighters deliver baby
  
Toronto Fire Services was called to 330 Dixon Road at 8:48 a.m. today for a
report of an imminent childbirth. A full term pregnant woman’s water broke and
her contractions were two minutes apart. Pumper 441, responded from the Fire
Station at 947 Martin Grove Road.

Upon arrival, Toronto Fire Fighter Lou Albano administered oxygen to the
mother, while Fire Fighter Carl Zikovitz delivered the newborn.

Fire Fighters Albano and Zikovitz have been nominated for a Toronto Fire
Services’ Stork Award.
