Media Advisory - City officially re-opens St. Andrews Playground
  
City Councillor Olivia Chow (Ward 20 Trinity-Spadina), representatives of
Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation and the Garment District Neighbourhood
Association will officially re-open the revitalized St. Andrews Playground in
the business district of the downtown core.

The opening event includes greetings, a vine cutting and light refreshments to
follow.

Date: Sunday, October 30

Time: 2 p.m.

Location: St. Andrews Playground
450 Adelaide St. W. (between Brant and Maud Streets)

The new playground features a junior and senior apparatus that includes swings,
climbers and spring toys for young families and children to enjoy. Park
improvements include new walkways, improved lighting, a wheelchair accessible
fountain and new planting beds.
