Road closure - Jarvis Street

Northbound lanes on Jarvis Street will be closed from Adelaide Street to
Richmond Street, from Saturday, February 5 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, February 20 at
11 p.m.

Southbound traffic will be limited to one lane during this period.

Alternate routes include University Avenue, Bay Street, Yonge Street, Church
Street, Sherbourne Street and Parliament Street.

"With respect to this closure, several alternatives were considered and it was
determined that a two-week work zone with the northbound lanes being closed
would be less disruptive than a number of partial closures over the next three
to four months," said Les Kelman, Acting General Manager of Transportation
Services.

For further information about these and other closures, check with
Transportation Services' Road Info line at 416-599-9090 or visit the City's Web
site at www.toronto.ca/transportation.
