Neighbours take a bow for supporting seniors
  
At a special celebration, staff and residents will say thank you to four
organizations and individuals who have made significant donations to enrich the
lives of residents at Kipling Acres, a Toronto Home for the Aged.

Date: Friday, January 28
Time: 2 p.m.
Location: Kipling Acres, 2233 Kipling Ave.

Plaques on the home's donor wall will be unveiled to honour the Royal Canadian
Legion, Branch 286, which has contributed $22,500; the Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch 210, which has donated $20,000; Constance Peters, who has given $1,000;
and DUCA Credit Union, which has contributed $1,350.

Toronto Homes for the Aged is committed to providing care and services that
respect, support and enable every resident to have the highest level of
independence and quality of life. Donations from the community play a critical
role in making this vision a reality for the 2,641 residents who call our homes
home.
