Media Advisory - UTAG-Uniting Toronto Against Guns: Safer Streets Stronger Communities, community rally at Yonge-Dundas Square
This Sunday, community groups and residents of Toronto will gather at
Yonge-Dundas Square to address the increase of violence and guns in Toronto at
the UTAG (Uniting Toronto Against Guns: Safer Streets, Stronger Communities)
community rally.

Date: Sunday, November 13
Time: 1 to 3 p.m.
Location: Yonge-Dundas Square, (southeast corner of Yonge & Dundas)

At its meeting in October, Toronto City Council endorsed the UTAG (Uniting
Toronto Against Guns: Safer Streets, Stronger Community) Day of Remembrance and
Action on Gun Violence.

Mayor David Miller has also proclaimed Sunday, November 13, 2005 'UTAG-Uniting
Toronto Against Guns: Safer Streets, Stronger Communities Day of Action.'
