Media Advisory - City of Toronto recognizes International Day of People with Disabilities
  
The City of Toronto, together with community and business partners, will recognize International Day of People with Disabilities on Friday, December 2. Mayor David Miller will proclaim December 3 International Day of People with Disabilities, and along with the City’s Disability Advocate Councillor Joe Mihevc, recognize six unsung heroes from the community.

Date: Friday, December 2
Time: 9:30 a.m. to noon
Place: Metro Hall Rotunda, 55 John St. (King and John Streets)

Other program highlights include an information sharing session, and presentations on City services and programs supporting accessibility by representatives of Parks, Forestry and Recreation; Shelter, Support and Housing Administration; Social Services; and Transportation Services.
