Media Advisory: Toronto home for the aged celebrates 30 years of community

Castleview Wychwood Towers, a Toronto home for the aged, will host an
anniversary party to celebrate 30 years of care and service to thousands of
residents. Special guests will join staff, residents and volunteers, both past
and present, to take a look at this home's long history of respecting,
supporting and enabling residents to be the best they can be.

One highlight of this celebration will be a reading of "Respect," a reader's
theatre presentation that delves into the challenges and triumphs staff in the
home have experienced when working with residents with dementia. Tours of the
home will be available following this presentation.

Date: Wednesday, May 25
Time: 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Presentations begin at 2:15 p.m.
Location: Auditorium, Castleview Wychwood Towers
351 Christie Street, Toronto

Castleview Wychwood Towers has enjoyed a long tradition of being part of its
surrounding community. This 456-bed long-term care home provides care to
residents from a diverse group of cultures, and is well positioned to serve
ethnic populations with different cultural traditions. It also welcomes
volunteers of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, who play a critical role in
making this truly a home.
