Toronto Youth Cabinet announces line-up for Yonge Dundas celebration
  
The Toronto Youth Cabinet has announced an exciting line-up of performers who
will share the stage at The Cause, the premier celebration of youth in the city
of Toronto that takes place on Sunday, July 17 at Yonge Dundas Square. Top
performers at this fourth annual event include Malichi, Fargheen Beg and LAL,
who all have a solid following by the youth of Toronto. The event will feature
a wide range of musical and performance styles. Other performers include DJ
Vonnie (pop), DJ X (hip-hop, r&b, reggae) the Chinese Dance Troupe, classical
Indian dancer Shaolin, Royden (rock), spoken word performers Ayden and Annanda,
jazz/r&b singer Ashley, Products of Society (rap, r&b, hip-hop) and rock
artists FNA.

The goal of The Cause is to provide a positive space for youth to come
together, acknowledge the contributions of their peers, learn about volunteer
and employment opportunities, and most importantly, to have a good time. Over
3,500 youth and 40 community groups are expected to attend.

The event, which is organized by the Toronto Youth Cabinet, also features the
Find-Your-Cause Expo and the Identify ‘n’ Impact Awards.

Council as the official representative voice for the city's 300,000 youth.
