Media Advisory - Girl Guides and Cub Scouts learn first aid from Medical Venturers at EMS Headquarters

Over 60 Cubs and Girl Guides will be earning their First Aid badges from
Medical Venturers at Toronto Emergency Services (EMS) Headquarters tomorrow
morning.

The Guide Units and Cub Packs will be learning first aid and CPR modules from

Toronto EMS paramedics volunteer their time to support the MedVent troops by
providing emergency first response training. Tomorrow, qualified MedVents will
share their training with their younger Cub and Girl Guide colleagues by
helping them earn their First Aid badges.

Date: Saturday, November 19
Time: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Place: Emergency Services Headquarters
4330 Dufferin St. (access via Lodestar, off Steeprock)

Scouts Canada and Toronto EMS volunteers will be available for media
