Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River Mayors’ meeting
  
Mayors and municipal leaders from across Ontario and Quebec will meet this
Friday to discuss the work needed to improve the health of the Great Lakes and
St. Lawrence River. The meeting will be hosted by Mayor David Miller, who is
co-chair of the Great Lakes Cities Initiative (www.nemw.org/glci).

Date: Friday, March 11

Times: 9 a.m. - Noon: Plenary session (open to media and
public)

Opening remarks at 9 a.m. by the Hon. Bryon Wilfert, Parliamentary Secretary to
the federal Minister of the Environment

Noon - 3:30 p.m.: In-camera meeting

3:45 p.m.: Closing news conference

Location: Council Chamber, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Closing news conference and release of communiqué is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. in
the Members’ Lounge, Council Chamber.
