Partnership offers youth new job options

On Thursday, March 10, the City of Toronto’s Youth Employment Partnership (YEP)
will host a job fair for youth aged 16 to 30. Representatives from over 10
companies, including Toronto Parks and Recreation, Levi Strauss and Rona, will
be on hand to hire for positions in retail, customer service, recreation and
much more.

YEP is a network of non-profit youth employment agencies that offers job
placement services to businesses throughout Toronto at no cost to the employer.
This partnership is co-ordinated by the City of Toronto. In 2004, more than
5,000 businesses used the services of the network to hire people aged 15 to 30
for jobs in a variety of industries including hospitality, manufacturing,
retail, customer service, construction and technology.

Applicants need to bring their resumés and be prepared to do an on-site
interview.
