Partial closure of Don Valley Parkway this Saturday

Due to poor weather conditions last weekend, the Transportation Services
Division will be closing part of the Don Valley Parkway this Saturday to
complete maintenance activities that were initiated last weekend.

The northbound Don Valley Parkway will be closed from the Gardiner Expressway
to Don Mills Road on Saturday, October 29 from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The on and off ramps at the Bayview/Bloor interchange will also be closed for
resurfacing work from Saturday, October 29 at 3 a.m. to Sunday, October 30 at 7
p.m.

The southbound lanes of the Don Valley Parkway will remain open all weekend.

Motorists can use Victoria Park Avenue, University Avenue, Avenue Road and
Broadview Avenue as alternate routes during the closure. Motorists are advised
to allow for additional time to arrive at their destination when using the
alternate routes.

Whenever possible, the public is encouraged to consider using public transit as
a convenient alternative.

For further information about other road closures, check with Transportation
Services’ Road Info line at 416-599-9090 or visit the City’s Web site at
http://www.toronto.ca/transportation.
