Vehicle incident
  
This morning, while responding to a call, with lights and sirens sounding, a
Toronto Fire Services vehicle struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was crossing Dundas St., between Markham and Bathurst, when she
stepped out from between vehicles that were stopped and had pulled to the right
for the approaching fire vehicle.

Toronto Fire crews immediately rendered first aid Toronto EMS transported her
to the Toronto Western Hospital, where she is being treated for a broken ankle
and minor head lacerations.

Toronto Police Service are investigating the accident. No charges are pending.
