Mayor Miller launches 40th anniversary celebration of Toronto City Hall
Mayor David Miller will help commemorate the 40th anniversary of Toronto City
Hall in an event featuring a preview of Celebrating 40 Years: A Retrospective
Exhibit about Toronto City Hall, an archival exhibition that chronicles the
original design competition and construction of this architectural landmark.

Joining Mayor Miller will be Councillor Kyle Rae, Chair of the Mayor's
Roundtable on Arts and Culture, Sonja Revell Stewart, Finnish architect Viljo
Revell's daughter, and members of Toronto's arts and cultural communities.

Date: Tuesday, September 13
Time: 4 to 6 p.m.
Place: Main Floor, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

The 40th anniversary of Toronto City Hall marks the launch of Toronto's Live
With Culture campaign, a 16-month celebration of the city's extraordinary arts
and cultural communities. From September 2005 to December 2006, the City will
shine a spotlight on the vibrant and diverse activities happening in the city
to showcase the vast scope of the city's culture of creativity.
