Mayor Miller and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) to launch Michael "Pinball" Clemons community leadership awards
Mayor Miller will today proclaim February as Black History Month in Toronto and
join members of City Council and the CIBC's Wayne C. Fox, Vice Chair, Chief
Risk Officer and National Diversity Champion, in announcing the Michael
"Pinball" Clemons Community Leadership Awards.

The Michael "Pinball" Clemons Community Leadership Awards will recognize the
achievements of Torontonians of African descent dedicated to advancing
diversity through their community leadership.

Scheduled speakers include Mayor David Miller; Toronto Argonauts Head Coach
Michael Clemons; Councillor Joe Mihevc, Ward 21, St. Paul's and the Chair of
the Roundtable on Access and Equity and Human Rights; Councillor Pam McConnell,
Ward 28, Toronto Centre-Rosedale; Wayne C. Fox, Vice Chair and Chief Risk
Officer, and National Diversity Champion, CIBC; and Brenda Librecz, Acting
General Manager, Toronto Parks and Recreation.
