Toronto Economic Development hosts 5th annual Small Business Forum
  
Now in its fifth year, the 2005 Small Business Forum will provide existing
business owners and individuals looking to start a small business with valuable
business advice and resources to become successful entrepreneurs.

Date: Monday, September 26
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Welcome address by Mayor David Miller: 9:30 a.m.
Keynote address by Jane Ip: 10 a.m.
Place: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, 255 Front St. W.

This one-day interactive forum will bring together emerging and established
entrepreneurs to discuss best practices and lessons learned through a
combination of roundtable discussions, information-sharing sessions and special
forums geared to new Canadians, women, youth and seasoned entrepreneurs. The
forum will cover all aspects of small business development designed to equip
entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, making small
business big business for Toronto’s economic prosperity. In addition, a trade
show with over 80 exhibitors will offer the latest in business products and
services.

A forum feature will be a keynote address by Jane Ip, creative designer and
founder of Jeanne Lottie Fashion.

The Small Business Forum is presented by Toronto Economic Development, through
