Media Advisory - Toronto Fire Fighters’ toy drive greets Specialty Board Games
Toronto Sun crime writer Max Haines will be joining his friends Mark Suttcliffe and Jeff Colthorpe from Specialty Board Games (SBG) to make a sizable contribution to the Toronto Fire Fighters’ toy drive.

Date: Thursday, December 22
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Fire Station 333, 207 Front St. E.

Wearing Santa hats, Haines, Suttcliffe and Colthorpe will be delivering 100 of the season’s best selling game titles, including CSI: The Board Game, NASCAR: The DVD Game, WWE and Shrek, worth approximately $4,000.

Specialty Board Games Inc. is based in Barrie, with offices in Toronto.

The Toronto Fire Fighters’ toy drive runs until December 24. All 81 Toronto fire stations are accepting new, unwrapped toys and sporting goods. Fire fighters distribute gifts to children of all ages, from infants up to 17 years of age. Gifts for teenagers are especially needed. Donations are sorted and then taken to children at dozens of hospitals, emergency shelters and needy family agencies throughout the holiday season, and on Christmas Day.
