Syphilis information session to be held
  
Toronto Public Health, in partnership with the Sherbourne Health Centre, will
be holding a syphilis update and information session this evening at the 519
Church Street Community Centre, 519 Church St.

Toronto has seen a tenfold increase in syphilis cases since 2001. The majority
of cases are in men who have sex with men. If untreated, syphilis can lead to
central nervous system damage and other serious health problems, especially
when it occurs along with HIV/AIDS infection.
