My City, My Life provides a glimpse into the lives of 24 celebrated Toronto
personalities in arts and entertainment, sports, politics, and business as well
as some of Toronto's unsung heroes including firefighters, paramedics and
teachers. This photography exhibit takes viewers behind the scenes to reveal a
typical day in the life of these Torontonians. Some of the faces are instantly
recognizable from the media. Some have dedicated their lives to ensuring the
safety and prosperity of this city. Regardless of whether these 24 people are
awake after midnight or before dawn, working the graveyard shift or 9 to 5,
sweating through a spinning class or shovelling snow, they're all doing their
best to squeeze the most out of life 24 hours at a time. And My City, My Life
will document it.

The works of those 24 photographers will provide a varied look at Toronto - the
diverse and the beautiful. To honour the visuals provided by the photographers,
their works will be displayed in the main floor of Toronto City Hall. The
Rotunda will be transformed with individual pavilions and projections that will
bring the exhibit to life.

The Mayor also announced other details about the second annual WinterCity

celebration of Toronto's culture, creativity, cuisine and incomparable
diversity of spirit. Running from January 28 - February 10, 2005, this festival

city. With stellar free indoor and outdoor programming, the hugely popular prix
fixe restaurant promotion, Winterlicious, plus tons of winter events and
