Yonge-Dundas Square announces new general manager

The Board of Management for Yonge-Dundas Square is pleased to announce the
appointment of Taylor Raths to the position of General Manager.

Mr. Raths has over 10 years experience in non-profit management in Toronto’s
cultural sector and joins the Yonge-Dundas Square team effective immediately.
During his tenure as an arts administrator, he worked as General Manager for
Theatre Passe Muraille, one of the leading alternative theatres in Canada. He
also held the position of Associate Director of Small Theatre Administrative
Facility, one of Canada’s most successful arts service organizations.

"Taylor brings a wealth of experience, leadership and creativity to our
organization," says Ron Soskolne, Chair, Board of Management for Yonge-Dundas
Square. "His artistic vision and extensive background in this city’s cultural
community are assets he will bring to the production of events that showcase
Canadian talent on the Square."

"I am delighted to have this opportunity," says Mr. Raths. "As a long time
resident of downtown Toronto, I look forward to strengthening Yonge-Dundas
Square’s position as a premier location and a destination for entertainment for
residents and tourists alike."

Yonge-Dundas Square is a City of Toronto facility and is operated by a
volunteer board of management. The Square is designated for use as both a
public open space and a venue for events of various sizes. The Square is
available for rental for commercial and community events. For more information
