Minister Gerretsen and Mayor Miller available to media at public consultations on new City of Toronto Act
  
Ontario Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister John Gerretsen and Toronto Mayor
David Miller will be available for comment to the media at 6:45 p.m. and at 10
p.m., on Wednesday, June 22, St. Lawrence Market -- North (Front and Jarvis
Streets) during the "Strong Toronto, Strong Ontario" public consultation.

The Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto are consulting the public on a
new legislative framework for Canada's largest city.

Provincial MPPs and Toronto City Councillors will also be attending all four
consultation locations across the city:

  • St. Lawrence Market -- North, Front and Jarvis Streets, northwest corner
  • Mid-Scarborough Community Centre, 2467 Eglinton Ave. E., at Kennedy Road
  • Etobicoke Collegiate, 86 Montgomery Rd., north of Bloor Street
  • Mitchell Field Community Centre, 89 Church Ave., south of Finch Avenue,
    east of Yonge Street


Members of the media are invited to attend all consultation locations and stay
for the duration of the event.
