Love Your Heart! Awards presented
  
Toronto residents who have contributed to the fight against heart disease by
making or helping others make healthy lifestyle choices will be honoured at a
Love Your Heart! Award celebration.

WHAT: Through the Love Your Heart! Award, the Toronto Heart Health Partnership
recognizes individuals who have made healthier food choices, become smoke-free,
become physically active or helped others to make healthy lifestyle choices.

WHO: Toronto City Councillors Raymond Cho, Janet Davis and Jane Pitfield will
present Love Your Heart! Awards to 79 individuals chosen from nominations
submitted from across the city.

WHY: Heart disease is the number one cause of death in Ontario for both women
and men. The Toronto Heart Health Partnership encourages healthier lifestyles
to reduce heart disease. The partnership is a group of individuals and
organizations that collaborate on projects that promote heart healthy
lifestyles in Toronto.
