Origins exhibition showcases a diversity of art
  
Toronto Culture will launch a new art exhibition this week at seven galleries
in Toronto's west end.

The Origins visual art exhibition celebrates Toronto's rich cultural life by
featuring artists from diverse backgrounds. Seven galleries in Toronto's west
end have collaborated for the first time to offer a range of exciting art that
reflects the cultural traditions of these established and emerging artists.

Tour these galleries through September and October:
  • Sherway Gardens Gallery in the Garden: August 30 - October 15, 25 The West Mall
  • Montgomery's Inn: September 8 - December 31, 4709 Dundas St. W.
  • The Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery: September 14 - October 14, 399 The West Mall
  • Franklin Carmichael Art Centre: September 24 and 25, 34 Riverdale Dr.
  • Richview Library Gallery: September 26 - October 2, 1806 Islington Ave.
  • Neilson Park Creative Centre: September 27 - October 16, 56 Neilson Dr.
  • The Assembly Hall: September 28 - October 21, 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Dr.


Origins is also part of ArtsWeek which runs from September 22 to October 2.
