Parks, Forestry and Recreation “goes to bat” with Canadian Cricket Association

The City of Toronto and the Canadian Cricket Association (CCA) will co-host a conference to address critical issues surrounding the development of cricket, one of the fastest growing sports in Toronto. The conference, organized by the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division, will include a formal presentation by the CCA, followed by a discussion session among conference participants.

Date: Thursday, May 19

Time: 6 to 8 p.m.

Place: Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., 2nd floor, Committee Rooms 2 & 3

Through its “Going To Bat For You” program, the CCA, together with the Access & Equity Unit of the Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division, hopes to promote and develop cricket as a recreational program for all residents of Toronto.
