Mayor David Miller to honour Alex Ling, ambassador and advocate for Toronto's small businesses
  
Mayor David Miller and Councillor Bill Saundercook (Ward 13 Parkdale-High Park)
will join Bloor West Village Business Improvement Area representatives and
members of Toronto's small business community to honour Alex Ling, an ardent
activist for small businesses, who paved the way for the establishment of
business improvement areas in Toronto.

Date: Thursday, March 3
Time: 6 p.m.
Place: Northwest corner of Jane Street and Bloor Street West, under the
marquee

The celebration will feature a dedication ceremony to name the fountain at Jane
and Bloor Streets the Alex Ling Fountain in recognition of Ling's 30 years of
volunteer service to strengthen Toronto's neighbourhoods, small businesses and
public spaces.
