Toronto welcomes South African performance group UMOJA
  
UMOJA performance group will perform their latest work "The Spirit of
Togetherness" at the Wellesley Community Centre. "The Spirit of Togetherness"
celebrates the potent rhythms of tribal music, the intricate steps of gumboot
dancing, the foot stomping jazz of Sophiatown and the inspirational
full-throated joy of Gospel.

Following the performance, children and youth are invited to help welcome the
performers to Toronto and exchange perspectives with the performers.

Date: Friday, September 16
Time: 4 to 6 p.m.
Place: Wellesley Community Centre, 495 Sherbourne St.

Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation is committed to providing Toronto
