Weekend road closures for special events
  
A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate
street events in the city.

Portugal Day

Weekend closures:

  • Lansdowne Avenue, from Bloor Street to College Street, will be closed in
    both directions on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. An alternative route
    to use would be Dufferin Street.
  • Dundas Street, from Lansdowne Avenue to Bathurst Street, will be closed
    in both directions on Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the
    parade. Queen Street or College Street could be used as alternative routes.
  • There will be a number of road closures for the festival on Sunday, June
    12 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the area bounded by Dundas Street in the north,
    Crawford Street in the west, Queen Street in the south and Montrose Street to
    the west.

    Toronto Challenge Run

    Sunday closure:

  • Wellington Street, from Simcoe Street to John Street, will be closed in
    both directions on Sunday, June 12 from 8 a.m. - noon. There will also be a
    variety of road closures during the event in the area bounded by Wellington
    Street in the north, Bathurst Street in the west, Queen’s Quay in the south and
    York Street to the east.

    Festival on Bloor

    Sunday closure:

  • Bloor Street, from Spadina Road to Bathurst Street, will be closed in
    both directions, on Sunday, June 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Harbord Street and
    Dupont Street could be used as alternative routes.

    The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient,
    alternative choice whenever possible.
