Heat Alert terminated
  
Dr David McKeown, Toronto's Medical Officer of Health, has terminated
yesterday's Heat Alert.

A Heat Alert is called when an oppressive air mass is forecast and the
likelihood of weather-related mortality exceeds 65 per cent. An Extreme Heat
Alert is called when the likelihood of weather-related mortality exceeds 90 per
cent.

Residents can call Toronto Health Connection for advice on "Beating the Heat"
at 416-338-7600 or they can visit www.toronto.ca/health.
