Winterlicious reservations now accepted

What: The WinterCity Festival marks the return of the ever-popular
Winterlicious presented by American Express. Toronto's third annual winter
restaurant program will run from January 28 - February 10, 2005. Each of the
120 participating restaurants will offer a special three-course prix fixe menu
where patrons can sample the establishment's tasty fare. The menus are
available at lunch ($10 or $20) and dinner ($20 and $30).

On top of the prix fixe menus that will be served at the city's restaurants, 12
establishments will be offering unusual food experiences. These experiences
allow food lovers to get up-close and personal with award-winning chefs, enjoy
a meal while viewing the latest fashions by local designers or savour a
delicious meal with a loving parent.

When: Reservations for Winterlicious will be accepted starting Thursday,
January 13. American Express cardmembers can go to the Front Of The Line® to
book early - January 11 and 12. Winterlicious culinary experiences are on sale
now.

Where: The public can visit www.toronto.ca for all participating
restaurant phone numbers.

Why: The second annual WinterCity Festival, presented by the American Express
Foundation, is a 14-day city-wide celebration of Toronto's culture, creativity,
cuisine and incomparable diversity of spirit. Running from January 28 -
February 10, 2005, this festival dares audiences to forget the weather and join
the party in the world's coolest city. With stellar free indoor and outdoor
programming, the hugely popular prix fixe restaurant promotion Winterlicious,
plus tons of winter events and discounts at Toronto's attractions, WinterCity
provides the perfect opportunity for tourists and locals to sample the city's
vibrant arts scene.
