Weekend road closures
  
A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate
street events in the city.

Cabbagetown Festival

Saturday and Sunday closures:

  • Parliament Street, from Gerrard Street to Wellesley Street, will be
    closed in both directions on Saturday, September 10 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and
    on Sunday, September 11 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sherbourne Street is an alternate route.


    United Way Leaps and Bounds Race

    Sunday closure:

  • Queen Street, from Bay Street to University Avenue, will be closed in
    both directions on Sunday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Other streets during this time will be closed or lanes will be restricted
    in the area bounded by Bloor Street to the north, University Avenue/Queen's
    Park to the east, St. George Street to the west and Queen Street to the south.


    The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient,
    alternative choice whenever possible.
