City’s home renovation forums continue
  
Toronto residents will have a chance to win a free water efficient toilet by
attending one of the City’s 2005 home renovation forums.

Although several sessions are now fully booked, there are still spaces
available for people to register for the following:
  • Wednesday, April 20 at Toronto City Hall (100 Queen St. W.)
  • Friday, April 29 at the York Civic Centre (2700 Eglinton Ave. W.)
  • Monday, May 2 at the North York Civic Centre (5100 Yonge St.)

    From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on each of these evenings, staff from the City and
    representatives from other organizations will discuss a wide variety of
    renovation topics, including:
  • planning additions or alterations to your home
  • permits and other approvals
  • property standards
  • healthy renovations
  • fire safety
  • energy efficiency
  • water conservation incentive programs
  • recycling construction materials
  • heritage preservation
  • financing
  • working with contractors
