Weekend Road Closures for Special Events
A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate
street events in the city.

Girl Guides of Canada March
Sunday closure:

- Queen’s Park/Queen’s Park Circle, from Bloor Street to College Street, will
be closed from time to time in both directions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday,
May 29.

World Partnership Walk
Sunday closure:

- Wellington Street, from John Street to University Avenue, and University
Avenue, from Wellington Street to Queen’s Park Circle, will be closed in both
directions from 11 a.m. to
2 p.m. on Sunday, May 29.

Walk for Israel
Sunday closure:

A number of partial closures will take place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday,
May 29 to accommodate this event. The roads affected will be in the area
bounded by Strachan Avenue in the west, Lake Shore Boulevard in the south,
Spadina Avenue in the east and Dundas Street to the north. In addition to the
streets noted above, some other streets affected by this event include:
Adelaide Street, Bathurst Street and Front Street.

The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient,
alternative choice whenever possible.
