City of Toronto officially re-opens revitalized Leslie Grove Park
  
Councillor Paula Fletcher (Ward 30 Toronto-Danforth) and representatives from
Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation will officially re-open the newly
revitalized green space at Leslie Grove Park, located on the north-west corner
of Jones Avenue and Queen Street East.

The park re-development includes new walking paths, enhanced lighting and
updated junior and senior playground equipment. The focal point of the park is
the newly designed entrance off Queen Street East at Jones Avenue.

The opening event includes greetings, a ceremonial tree planting and a park
bench unveiling. A variety of live entertainment and activities for all ages
will be offered from noon to 4 p.m.

Date: Saturday, May 14

Time: Noon to 4 p.m.
Official opening at 1 p.m.

Location: Leslie Grove Park
North-west corner of Jones Avenue and Queen Street East
