Nominations accepted for Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation - Scarborough District 2005 Trillium Gardens Contest
  
Nominations are being accepted for the annual Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation - Scarborough District 2005 Trillium Gardens Contest until contest closing on Friday July 15, 2005. All gardens belonging to residents and
businesses with a street address in the following wards are eligible for nomination: Wards 35 & 36 (Scarborough Southwest), Wards 37 & 38 (Scarborough Centre), Wards 39 & 40 (Scarborough-Agincourt), Wards 41 & 42
(Scarborough-Rouge River), and Wards 43 & 44 (Scarborough East).

All gardens will be judged from July 21 to 29 in a variety of criteria including design, use of plant material, condition and maintenance, hard landscaping, environmental practices, community contribution and distinction.
Gardens will be recognized in Residential - Traditional, Residential - Environmental/Alternative, Commercial and Industrial categories.

The Trillium Gardens Contest is a successful partnership between Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation, the Agincourt Garden Club and the Scarborough Garden and Horticultural Society.
