Media Advisory: Mayor Miller encourages Toronto residents to "Get Your Move On"

Mayor David Miller will join Scott Haldane, President and CEO of the YMCA of
Greater Toronto, and dozens of community partners tomorrow to launch Get Your
Move On - a campaign "making physical activity a Toronto thing".

Mayor Miller and community leaders will be led through their paces by a group
of young students demonstrating active games, including a singalong version of
"My body lies over the sofa" acted out to the tune of "My Bonnie lies over the
Ocean".

In a report last year, Toronto's Medical Officer of Health described an
"epidemic of inactivity" in the city, where only 33 per cent of residents are
physically active, the lowest rate in Ontario.
