Media Advisory: Toronto renames its Forty Third Street Park
  
To recognize the outstanding contribution of Maurice J. Breen's rescue and
restoration efforts in the wake of Hurricane Hazel, Toronto Parks and
Recreation is renaming the Forty Third Street Park in his honour. The park,
which is located immediately north of Marie Curtis Park and stood in the path
of the hurricane, will be known as the Maurice J. Breen Park.

Councillor Mark Grimes, Mr. Breen and Mr. Breen's sister, Eileen Smith, will be
participating in the official ceremony.

Date: Saturday, October 16
Time: 2:30 p.m.
Place: Forty Third Street Park
26 Forty Third St. (Lake Shore Blvd. W., west
of Brown's Line)
